Boardwalk is a 24-hour guard-gated community of about 253 homes built around 2002 across four neighborhoods, Lighthouse, Shoreline, Nautical Pointe, and Mystic Pointe, mostly detached single-family with one townhome neighborhood. How do Beachwalk and Boardwalk differ day to day?

Beachwalk is an established, walkable, amenity-first community: a junior-Olympic pool, several smaller pools, two clubhouses, saunas, and more than a mile of greenbelt paths under mature trees. It's attached product, so the trade is shared walls and an HOA that maintains a lot, in exchange for a lower price and a strong amenity set close to the beach.

Boardwalk is newer and gated, with a guarded entrance and a single clubhouse and pool. Three of its four neighborhoods are detached single-family homes, and the fourth, Mystic Pointe, is townhomes, so there's a range from the most attainable townhome up to the larger Nautical Pointe homes. The trade is a higher price for newer construction and a staffed gate.
