What a Compass Private Exclusive actually does for your listing

A Compass Private Exclusive is the quiet first chapter of every signature Ratowsky Group listing. It's not a "coming soon" sign on the public MLS. It's a brand of pre-market that's only available inside Compass, distributed to more than 84,000 Compass agents and their qualified buyer pools across every premier U.S. coastal market.

Here is what it actually does, in plain English.

It tests pricing without burning days on market. The number you list at on day one of public MLS is the number every buyer compares to every price reduction that follows. A Private Exclusive lets us test that number on a ready-now buyer pool first. If the response is loud, we hold or raise. If it's quiet, we adjust before the public clock starts ticking.

It surfaces the buyers who don't shop the public MLS. Cash buyers, relocation executives, and ultra-private high-net-worth individuals largely don't browse Zillow. They tell their agents what they want and wait. Compass Private Exclusives are how that tier hears about listings.
